We became fast friends when we saw a need for a values-based travel agency that prioritized people over profit.
The first phone call was meant to get to know one another but within minutes it became a fast-paced and high energy vortex of idea sharing.
The ideas were flowing but we needed a name. Something that would disrupt the status quo and make travel planning fun again.
“It’s something fun and super memorable. It’s like ‘Purple Banana.’ I mean it’s not ‘Purple Banana’ but it’s something like that,” Erika said with a laugh.
“We better be careful how much we talk about Purple Banana or it’s gonna stick,” Sarah countered with a grin.
…and within twenty-four hours, no matter how many other color + fruit combinations we tried on, Purple Banana had fully ripened and totally stuck.
Hi, I’m Sarah! Together with my husband Mike, we’re raising 4 amazing kiddos: Bear, Sister, Cubby and Baby (we try our best to protect their privacy online, so they picked those nicknames out for themselves).
Our family has mastered the art of filling vacations with experiences not easily forgotten – from special meals in our favorite Disney World restaurants to jumping off sailboats in Lake Huron (that’s a story for another day!).
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I’d want to be on the beaches of Negril, Jamaica, watching the sun set with the people I love most!

Hiya, I’m Erika! I’m blessed to experience life together with Gus (the handsome hubs) and our daughter, Lou. When we’re not at Disney or cruising the Caribbean, you can most likely find us at a sporting event (any sport – we love them all).
At Disney World, I’ll be the one rope dropping the Peoplemover, chillin’ on the Hub Grass with some chicken tenders, or dancin’ on Main Street. Oh, and I’ll be doing it all with more than a passing crush on Daddy Triton!
A big goal I have is to stand on the TED stage and deliver a hilariously heartfelt talk about why every single person on Earth should prioritize travel and collect experiences.
