Travel Advisors (coaches) are experts in the destinations they sell. They craft, book and provide concierge level service to their clients.
In exchange for that help, travel suppliers (like Disney or Royal Caribbean) pay out commission.
The client doesn’t pay extra for a travel coach’s services (it’s the travel supplier who gives up a portion as the commission).

how the hiring process works
Apply using the buttons on this page! Applicants who are authentic will stand out, don’t just tell us what you think we want to hear. There is space to be successful in countless ways.
Round two will include a video element where you’ll speak directly to the camera as you answer a few questions (don’t worry you can choose which questions you want to answer).
Finalists will be invited to have a zoom call with Sarah and Erika (the Head Banana in Charge and the Chief Fun Officer) to chat and make sure that this is a great fit for you.

Comprehensive Training:
From the moment you’re hired, be ready to embark on your onboarding journey as you become familiar with the systems that make Purple Banana Travel epic! You’ll learn back-end processes with detailed videos for every major step. Become confident in catching a clients vision, making expert recommendations, and booking vacations. Relish in innovative marketing education to help your business soar.
Invitation-Only Events:
Throughout each year, Purple Banana Travel is invited to participate in on-site education with the travel suppliers we sell. You can earn invitations to these events as well as dedicated work retreats and deeper education to help you level up at each resort. It’s also not uncommon for travel coaches to organize impromptu trips throughout the year and travel together.
Tiered Commission Earnings:
Growth and success is rewarded! Unlock additional commission for yourself the more you sell (up to 80%). With an excellent closing percentage and even better client service, you may also be invited in to our lead sharing program. We pride ourselves on competitive commission splits that demonstrate loyalty to our incredible coaches.
Eligibility For Personal Travel Discounts:
Once you’ve demonstrated excellence as a travel coach, you’ll be invited to apply for your own CLIA membership. This grants you some fabulous discounts on select personal travel (think 50% off). Use the savings for a fun family trip OR to learn more about a destination to share with your ideal clients.
Private Forum For Collaboration & Real-Time Help:
Because community is a core value, you’ll have immediate access to our private communication channels to ask your questions, collaborate with your fellow travel coaches, and cheer each other on. Think of it as the hub of our virtual workplace! It’s organized so you don’t have to go digging for an answer when you need it fast and it may just be the most fun hangout in the whole history of ever.
